| The innovative application and development of computer technology have become a catalyst and important driving force for the development of the current design industry.Font design,as a design system with a high application rate in daily life,is also showing a diversified development trend with the support of computer technology.This paper takes serif element font design as the main research object,through analyzing the origin,historical evolution,stroke structure characteristics of serif element in Chinese calligraphy and the characteristics of calligrapher ’works,studies the principle,operability and implementation space of serif element in font innovative design,in order to find new design growth points in the process of in-depth analysis of serif element font design.The author has developed a customized font library based on Yan Zhenqing’s Yanti strokes.This font library retains the original characteristics of Yanti stroke fonts and extracts serif elements.Targeted optimization and innovation have been carried out according to the requirements of font design in the font library.This set of font design for font libraries aims to creatively transform excellent traditional Chinese culture and art by better integrating traditional Chinese calligraphy art and applying VR virtual reality technology,and provide new ideas and methods for the development of the font design industry for font libraries. |
