| The Tibetan region has attracted many painters with its distinctive ethnic landscape, and at a glance of contemporary oil painting, the natural and human landscape of the region still has cultural, historical and social value. How this clichéd oil painting theme can be given a new look in the present day is a challenge that the author needs to solve in the process of creation. In this regard, the author has explored the language of oil painting, the form of expression and other aspects related to the ontology of painting in a multi-level and multi-dimensional manner, starting with the series of works in the Sanskrit Realm. This series of works takes the architectural landscape of Tibetan areas as the main object of expression, and the series of works is named "Brahma Realm".The author aims to explore the depiction of these characteristic buildings with visual value and cultural significance,in order to explore a picture expression language that is in line with this theme and connotation in the creative process. This theme was chosen for creation because,on the one hand, among the existing works depicting Tibetan areas, there are few specific and subtle special works that express Tibetan architecture. On the other hand, architectural landscapes that carry cultural elements, traditional colors and unique forms are also more suitable for intervention in the process of exploring the language of oil painting. In the creation of the "Fanjing" series of works,he focuses on the practical exploration of decorative techniques and the production of material texture in the language of painting, pays attention to the visual impact of the work while taking into account the endowment of cultural connotation, and explores the generation of personalized oil painting language and style through the attempt of language and the creation of artistic conception. |
