Idolatry has existed since ancient society and originated from the ancient people’s totem adoration.Idolatry is becoming increasingly prevalent and varied as internet media develops,and logical idolatry can have a positive impact on fans who seek a closeness.Based on previous research,this study aims to investigate the relationship between idolatry and group belonging,as well as the significance of the mediating role of interpersonal trust in the relationship and the significance of the moderating role of independence in the relationship,in order to enrich the research on idolatry and group belonging.A questionnaire was delivered to 618 early adult female fans using "Idol Worship Questionnaire",“Group Belongingness Questionnaire”,“Specific Interpersonal Trust Scale-Female”and “16PF-Q2”,and the data acquired was analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and concluded that.(1)The idolatry,sense of group belonging and independence of female fans in early adulthood are around average,and the interpersonal trust is above average.(2)In the place of residence,there are significant differences in the sense of group belonging and interpersonal trust.As for academic qualifications,there are significant differences in idolatry,sense of group belonging and interpersonal trust.Whether it is the only child or not,there are significant differences in idolatry and interpersonal trust.In terms of work,there are significant differences in idolatry.(3)Among female fans in their early adulthood,there was a substantial positive correlation between idolatry,group belonging,and interpersonal trust.In particular,idolatry has a significant positive correlation with group belonging and interpersonal trust.Idolatry was negatively and substantially correlated with the group identity dimension of group belonging and positively correlated with the additional three parts of warmth perception,participation and integration.Interpersonal trust is positively correlated with group belonging and its four dimensions.(4)Early adulthood female fans’ interpersonal trust partially mediates between idolatry and group belonging.(5)Independence regulates the relationship between idolatry and group belonging,interpersonal trust and group belonging.Based on the intermediary model of idolatry,interpersonal trust and group belonging,a regulated intermediary model is constructed. |
