| Phonics mainly through the teaching of rules to make students clear the relationship between the pronunciation and the form of vocabulary,so as to achieve the purpose of “seeing the word can be recognized,listening to the sound can be written”.In recent years,a large number of domestic scholars have proved the effectiveness and feasibility of phonics in English vocabulary teaching through experimental research and action research.However,the application effect of phonics in practical vocabulary teaching is not ideal.This study hopes to find out the practical problems existing in phonics in the English vocabulary teaching of the senior section of primary school and to find corresponding countermeasures to improve the application effect of phonics.This study hopes that phonics can be more widely and effectively used in primary school English vocabulary teaching.This study sorted out and analyzed the related researches on phonics by reading literature to understand the existing research achievements and the shortcomings of the research.Then,it goes into the actual teaching situation of phonics,and carries out relevant research on the existing problems,causes and optimization strategies of phonics in the teaching of English vocabulary in the senior section of primary school.In this study,R Primary School,a public school in C City that systematically teaches phonics,is selected as the research object.The actual teaching situation is in-depth,and the English classroom is observed.At the same time,questionnaires and interviews are designed to collect relevant data to support the research.Through observation,it is found that phonics has the following problems in the five teaching links of classroom introduction,presentation of new knowledge,classroom practice,expansion and application,classroom summary and assignment: teachers’ classroom introduction weakens the connection between old and new phonics;New knowledge presents ignoring word spelling output;The lack of teaching materials spelling processing;Expand the use of dissolving phonics rule construction;Class summary and assignment lack phonics objective extension.The reasons for the above problems are as follows: the traditionalization of teachers’ teaching ideas;Teachers have deviation in understanding the consonant shape;Teachers do not study the textbooks deeply enough;Teachers themselves lack of rule construction literacy;Teachers have not yet implemented the whole process of vocabulary phonics teaching concept.Combined with the above problems and reasons,this study tries to propose optimization strategies for five teaching links: teachers clearly introduce core teaching into the classroom and attach importance to phonics connection;Teachers optimize new knowledge presentation program description teaching,strengthen spelling output;Teachers adjust the classroom practice evaluation form,improve the phonics processing;Teachers improve and expand the use of teaching knowledge,strengthen the construction of rules;Teachers update the classroom summary and assignment concept,and clarify the phonics goal. |
