Analysis Of The Music Characteristics And Performance Techniques Of Bousonian’s Clarinet Concertion In B Flat Major

Felicio Busoni was an outstanding and knowledgeable Italian artist in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.He was a composer,pianist,playwright,as well as a teacher,aesthetician,philosopher,and critic.①Busoni’s music creation is very rich,covering many artistic music genres such as opera,concertos,orchestras,chamber music,choral music,songs,etc.In his lifetime,Bousney only created one concerto for the clarinet-"Concertion in B flat major"(clarinet solo,orchestral or piano concerto),which Bousney created for his father.This paper focuses on the study of the musical style of Busoni and the integration of the form,harmony,and performance techniques of this work with musical expression.It aims to study the music works and creative style of Felicio Busoni from multiple perspectives.By exploring the performance techniques and characteristics of Busoni’s "B flat minor concertion",this paper aims to understand this work from a vertical and horizontal perspective.Bousney is one of the representative figures of neoclassicism.After publishing the "Outline of New Music Aesthetics",he truly entered a new style of music creation.This paper will extend the analysis of classical and neoclassical music styles,providing performers and learners with some solid theoretical foundations,in order to have a deeper understanding of the interpretation of the work.The paper is divided into three levels.The first level of the paper takes the collision between classical and neoclassical music styles as a chapter,summarizing the life of Felicio Busoni and his creative ideas,in order to understand his learning experience and creative music style,and gain a deeper understanding of the composer’s thoughts and creative ideas.The second layer of the paper provides a deeper analysis of the music works,focusing on the creative background,musical structure,harmony,and other aspects of the music.The final layer of the paper explores the integration of performance techniques and musical expression,how to apply performance techniques in works,how to grasp the emotions of music,how to express the cooperation between piano concertos and instrumental parts,and further organize the interpretation of performance that I believe is closer to the composer’s ideal.I hope to gain a deeper understanding of the style that the composer intends to present in this piece of music through the above research,and to better and appropriately interpret the composer’s creative philosophy when performing.
