The article focuses on the application of the modal verb “Yinggai” in international Chinese language teaching and the production of related teaching materials.“Yinggai” is a typical modal verb in modern Chinese.In international Chinese teaching,“Yinggai”,as an important vocabulary that needs to be mastered by primary Chinese learners,appears frequently and is highly used,and because of its multiple meanings and semantic crossover characteristics,it is prone to errors,thus becoming one of the most difficult points of acquisition for international Chinese teachers and foreign Chinese learners.The total number of studies on the modal verb“Yinggai” is not as high as that of other common modal verbs,and there is still some room for research on international Chinese language teaching that applies to “Yinggai”.This paper uses questionnaire survey,comparative analysis,corpus method and inductive method to explore the common grammatical features of “Yinggai” in international Chinese teaching from the perspective of its modal semantics,and corresponds to the biases that Chinese learners are prone to,in order to refine applicable teaching priorities and directions for international Chinese teachers’ grammar teaching analysis.The aim is to refine the applicable teaching focus and direction for international Chinese teachers.We also try to design a diversified and systematic teaching material resource based on the theory of "fragmentation",hoping to provide a clear and convenient teaching material for international Chinese teachers.This paper attempts to break the classical classification model of bias based on formal expressions,improve and supplement the simple classification of bias,take the syntactic semantics of “Yinggai” as the final point of bias analysis,and explain the causes of bias more deeply in order to obtain a theoretical path for teaching “Yinggai” grammar."The theoretical path of grammar teaching and learning is applied.At the same time,we change the previous writing mode of separate error analysis and use learners’ common errors to correspond with the ontology study,so as to support the syntactic and semantic laws of “Yinggai”.The library of teaching resources designed in this paper differs from the textbook in that it does not have a fixed set of teaching rules,but puts the choice in the hands of teachers,providing them with"fragmented" teaching materials in the form of a reserve teaching manual.It is hoped that this paper can help Chinese learners reduce the acquisition error of the modal verb “Yinggai” on the one hand,and provide international Chinese teachers with diversified and convenient teaching materials on the other hand,in order to contribute to the study of international Chinese grammar teaching of modal verbs.
