| In the past fifteen years(2008-2022),China’s Internet penetration rate has significantly increased,and the number of Internet users has increased rapidly.The development of the Internet has changed people’ communication methods,resulting in the emergence of network buzzwords.Language variation has always been the focus of attention in the field of linguistics.This paper takes the phenomenon of vocabulary variation of network buzzwords in the past 15 years as the research object.On the basis of previous studies,it is mainly analyzed systematically and comprehensively from the perspectives of sociolinguistics,cognitive linguistics,etc.Firstly,relevant information is sorted out and used as a basis to introduce the research background of the phenomenon of vocabulary variation in network buzzwords in the past fifteen years.The manifestations of vocabulary variation in network buzzwords in the past fifteen years are summarized in five aspects: pronunciation,part of speech,word meaning,word collocation,and word form.Then,specific analysis is conducted on each aspect,summarizing the characteristics of vocabulary variation in network buzzwords in the past fifteen years,and revealing its causes.This paper discusses the influence of the variation of network buzzwords on Chinese as a foreign language,and how teachers of Chinese as a foreign language should deal with the phenomenon of the variation of network buzzwords,and finally puts forward some suggestions for these problems.Network buzzwords reflect the thinking,cognition and behavior of young people,and have a strong vitality.They have a noticeable impact on the modern Chinese vocabulary system and the development of contemporary society,and are gradually introduced into Chinese as a foreign language.By studying the phenomenon of vocabulary variation in popular online slang in the past fifteen years,it is helpful for people to use the internet for work and learning,and at the same time,it is helpful for people to understand the phenomenon of language variation and the process of vocabulary variation. |
