Population Spatial Pattern And Influencing Factors In Chongzuo Border Area

Border area is located in the border between countries,plays a unique role in economic,political,cultural and other special areas,the population is the premise and basis of guarantee the stability of the region development,the border region’s population still bear the important task of maintaining stability on its borders,the border region of population security is an important part of construction of border security.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the spatio-temporal evolution of population spatial pattern and explore the influencing factors of population spatial pattern in the border area of Chongzuo.Based on the spatio-temporal evolution of population spatial pattern in border areas of Chongzuo,an appropriate evaluation index model was constructed,and the census data of 2000,2010 and 2020 were used as well as the data of economic development,infrastructure construction and administrative division.With the help of Excel,SPSS Statistics,Arcgis10.2 and Geo Da software,literature analysis,principal component analysis,regression analysis and spatial autocorrelation analysis were used to explore the spatial and temporal evolution of population spatial pattern and its influencing factors in the border area of Chongzuo.Combined with the actual development of the border area of Chongzuo,Put forward countermeasures to guide population development in the future.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The permanent residents in the border area of Chongzuo city are concentrated in the central towns of each county(city).The population of the border towns in the western part of the study area is relatively concentrated,while the population in the southeast and northeast of the study area is most dispersed.There are big differences among towns and townships,with a wide gap in population density and significant differences in urbanization development level.(2)The population center of Chongzuo border area is located in the western part of the central part of the research area,which corresponds to the analysis results of population spatial pattern.The imbalance index and concentration index of population distribution keep rising,which indicates that the phenomenon of imbalance and concentration trend of population distribution in border area of Chongzuo city keeps strengthening,and the phenomenon of population dispersion and concentration exist simultaneously.The population density of each township has no significant autocorrelation in spatial distribution.(3)Principal component analysis shows that economic factors,social factors and natural factors all promote the evolution of population spatial pattern in Chongzuo border area;Regression analysis shows that economic factors and social factors gradually increase the degree of impact on the spatial pattern of population in Chongzuo border area,while the impact of natural factors gradually decreases.The results of geographical weighted regression analysis show that social factors have a significant positive impact on the spatial pattern of rural population in Chongzuo border area,and are the leading factor promoting the evolution of population spatial pattern.Finally,based on the above conclusions,combined with the actual situation learned in the survey,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward for the existing problems,in order to provide reference for the economic and social development of Chongzuo border area,and make prospects for the future research direction.
