In recent years,the negative impact of adverse childhood experiences on individuals has become a hot topic in the society.Psychological abuse and neglect,as a type of adverse childhood experiences,are often ignored by the public,and the subjective well-being level of college students is directly related to the individual’s life satisfaction and physical and mental health.Therefore,it is of great theoretical value and practical significance to explore the relationship between psychological abuse and neglect and subjective well-being of college students.In this paper,perceptive social support ability and anxious mood were selected as mediating variables to explore the pathway effects of them on individual childhood psychological abuse and neglect and subjective well-being.In this study,700 college students were surveyed by convenience sampling method,and 680 valid questionnaires were collected.The questionnaire included demographic information,psychological abuse and neglect scale,self-rating anxiety scale,perceptive social support scale and subjective well-being scale.This study used correlation analysis,t test,variance analysis,regression analysis,mediation effect test and path analysis to explore the pathway mechanism of childhood psychological abuse and neglect and subjective well-being.The results show that psychological abuse and neglect,ability to comprehend social support,anxious mood and subjective well-being of college students have significant differences in some demographic variables.The relationship between psychological abuse and neglect,ability to comprehend social support,anxious mood and subjective well-being of college students is pin-wise.Psychological abuse and neglect,perceived social support ability and anxious mood could significantly predict subjective well-being of college students;Understanding social support ability plays a partial mediating role between psychological abuse,neglect and subjective well-being of college students;Anxious mood plays a partial mediating role between psychological abuse,neglect and subjective well-being of college students.Perceived social support ability and anxious mood play a chain mediating role between psychological abuse,neglect and subjective well-being of college students.Through investigation,this study found that childhood psychological abuse and neglect can directly affect subjective well-being,and can also affect subjective well-being through understanding the mediating effect and chain mediating effect of social support ability and anxious mood.In conclusion,the profound influence of childhood psychological abuse and neglect on subjective well-being should not be ignored.Therefore,the society,schools and parents should pay attention to the spiritual needs of children,improve the attention to the psychological level of children,strengthen the care of children,enhance their ability to understand social support,and promote the comprehensive development of physical and mental health.Finally,according to the path of this study,relevant suggestions were put forward from the perspectives of individuals,families,schools and society,combined with psychological counseling technology,to reduce the impact of childhood psychological abuse and neglect on individual growth of college students,and improve subjective well-being.
