| Throughout the development of Chinese meticulous figure painting,traditional line drawing has always played an important role,and line drawing is an important form of expression in meticulous figure painting.With the development of meticulous figure painting,line drawing has become an independent form of painting,and the expression and style of line drawing have formed a complete stylization,establishing a unique artistic language of Chinese meticulous painting.The development of the times and the introduction of Western painting have given Chinese painting a new look,and people’s perceptions have changed,resulting in a diversity of forms of expression in meticulous painting,but the traditional line drawing has always played a pivotal role in meticulous figure painting.This paper provides an overview of the development of traditional line drawing,from its original budding stage to its later development and maturity,with different characteristics of traditional line drawing in different periods of history.This paper summarizes the basic stylization of traditional line drawing and studies in depth how traditional line drawing was expressed in ancient times and how it is inherited and developed in contemporary paintings through the analysis of specific paintings.For example,the paintings combine Western realistic techniques with traditional line drawing on the basis of inheriting traditional line drawing,strengthening the accuracy of “modeling with lines”.This paper focuses on my creative process and the application and expression of traditional line drawing in my creations.As young people of the new era,we must consider the development of traditional line drawing in contemporary meticulous figure painting,constantly combine the characteristics of the times,learn from tradition and inspire innovation to create works that reflect the aesthetics of the times,so that they can remain vibrant and alive for a long time. |
