| In recent years, due to the increase of medical disputes,doctor-patient relationship is getting increasingly tense and the conflicts between doctors and patients also aggravate. In 2009,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council unveiled a guiding document on the work to advance institutional reform of Heath care,in which “Building a harmonious doctor-patient relationship”and other basic principles were put forward and the basic goal to improve the patient satisfaction was set by stepping up efforts to ease people’s problems of difficulty and high cost of seeing a doctor.Currently, doctors need to interview more and more patients in a shorter period of time, and effective time management is particularly important. In the field of healthcare, time management is an essential skill.Having excellent time management skills not only helps to improve work efficiency, but also reduces work pressure and improves patient satisfaction with medical treatment. Therefore, based on the ABC principle theory of time management, social exchange theory and attribution theory, this paper improves the research model by adding doctors’ self-efficacy as a mediating variable and doctors’ doctor-patient communication ability as a moderating variable, and attempts to explore the mechanism between the four variables. In order to explore the relationship between doctors’ time management ability and patients’ satisfaction, and focus on the role of doctors’ self-efficacy and doctors’ doctor-patient communication ability in it,this study used doctors’ time management ability scale, doctors’ self-efficacy scale, doctors’ doctor-patient communication ability scale and patients’ satisfaction scale to investigate 162 outpatient doctors and 3 patients corresponding to each doctor through questionnaire survey, the valid questionnaires collected were 162 for doctors and 486 for patients. After the questionnaire is collected, statistical software such as SPSS 25.0 and Amos 22.0 will be used to analyze the collected questionnaire data, the final conclusions were as follows:(1)Doctors’ ability to manage time positively predicts patient satisfaction.(2)Doctor self-efficacy mediates between doctor’s time management ability and patient satisfaction.(3)Doctor patient communication ability positively regulates the predictive effect of doctor self-efficacy on patient satisfaction. This research has enriched the mechanism research of doctors’ time management ability on patients’ satisfaction to a certain extent, and the research results obtained have certain reference and reference value for guiding doctors to improve their time management ability,to enhance self-efficacy,improve doctor-patient communication ability, and improve patients’ satisfaction. In summary, this article proposes the following suggestions from the perspectives of both doctors and hospital managers:(1)Encourage doctors to adopt ABC time management method and patient specific communication methods, and maintain a positive attitude in their daily work.(2)Hospital managers should strengthen the construction of hospital environmental systems and adopt outpatient appointment models;Improve the complaint acceptance mechanism, take effective measures in a timely manner and follow up on patient complaints;Regularly organize medical personnel to learn corresponding courses to improve their self-awareness of doctor-patient relationships. |
