In recent years,with the help of the media,the anonymous local space has attracted more and more attention.People also understand different places in the diversified and comprehensive information dissemination of modern media.People and media jointly promote local space to become a popular online attraction.What unique space forms exist in local space? What kind of practice picture has been formed in the local space under the perspective of Internet celebrities? What does it mean for the construction of place?Based on the above background and problems,this study takes Chongqing Traffic Teahouse,which has existed for more than 60 years,as the case study object.Starting from the dual perspectives of "geography in media" and "media in geography" in media geography,this study focuses on local space and practice.Space paradigm applies Lefebvre’s space production theory,and regards space as a kind of media.The research framework is built according to the tripartite dialectics of "material space","spiritual space" and "social space".The practice paradigm is to observe through social practice and media practice,and explore the space production practice of Traffic Teahouse through text analysis,participatory observation,informal interview and in-depth interview and other research methods.Through research,it is found that in the material space of social existence,Traffic Teahouse has cultural,inclusive,privacy and other space attributes,and there is a recessive and dominant space separation.In the spiritual space of media imagination,the visual media exhibition creates a sense of space extension for the audience,becoming the presence of virtual and real coexistence.The symbols presented and constructed by the media are also constantly reshaping people’s perception of place and shaping the imaginary community among the audience.In the social space constructed as a relationship,Traffic Teahouse have formed new social relationships under the influence of media embeddedness and spatial production activities,and Traffic Teahouse have been reshaped into a new social space.Generally speaking,local space production practice is the result of the combined effect of three dimensions: material space,spiritual space and social space.As an open public space,Traffic Teahouse has the characteristics of space media,and space media is an important path to realize space production.From space media to space production practice,from space production practice to reconstruction of production relations.From the reconstruction of production relations to space reproduction,in this development path,Traffic Teahouse gradually becomes a dynamic social space,enriching interpersonal relations and constantly promoting the construction of urban culture and image. |
