The Ritual Weapon Tablet is one of the classic Han monuments that has received much attention and esteem from later generations, and there are stylistic differences between its sun and its shade. The author addresses the question of the style of writing of the three vermilion ink inscriptions in the Mitsui Bunko collection, which raise questions about the style of writing in several places that resemble the characters of a simple tablet, starting with the stylistic differences between the three vermilion ink inscriptions before and after the inscriptions, and the rise of inscriptions in the historical context of the Han dynasty,in the context of the dispute between the modern and ancient texts of the Han dynasty. It was not until the Eastern Han period, when the style of shuyi became prevalent, and the rise of the later Han monuments and tablets, that the official formal script became prevalent and the script moved towards a procedural standard writing style, leading to a division in everyday writing.Through a comparative study of the writing styles of everyday writing and the writing styles of the shade of Han stele, the author has been able to discover the state of everyday writing, which has been extended to other Han stele tablets;he has also focused on the differences between the yang and yin of the stele tablets, and through the combing of historical materials,he has found that the yang and yin of the stele tablets had different uses and functions, and different writing styles, resulting in many different styles. Therefore,I believe that the inscriptions on the shade of the stele, which resemble the characters of the inscriptions, were not added by later generations, but were originally carved, reflecting the infiltration of everyday writing into the inscriptions. |
