The New China News And The Anti-Japanese And National Salvation Propaganda Research

The New China Daily was an organ newspaper of the CPC Central Committee and the Shaan-Gan-Ning Border Region during the period of the all-around war of resistance against Japan.It shouldered the important mission of "national mouthpiece" and was a powerful public opinion tool for the CPC’s propaganda of anti Japanese and national salvation.During the War of Resistance Against Japan,due to the severe damage to China’s economy caused by the Japanese aggressors,coupled with weak military strength and outdated means of communication technology,it was difficult for the people to timely understand China’s precarious situation at that time,let alone fully recognize the importance of the War of Resistance Against Japan to save the country.The CPC,in order to awaken the broad masses’ awareness of the war and raise their awareness of the war,has carried out extensive propaganda work and advocated expanding the anti Japanese national united front through propaganda activities.In view of this,this article takes the anti Japanese and national salvation propaganda content reported in the New China Daily as the research object,and based on a large number of original literature and classic texts,comprehensively and deeply examines the main content of the anti Japanese and national salvation propaganda in the New China Daily.It analyzes in detail its characteristic propaganda methods and characteristics,and at the same time,makes a thorough and detailed exploration of the effectiveness and experience enlightenment of the newspaper’s anti Japanese and national salvation propaganda activities.This article consists of six chapters,and the introduction mainly reviews the academic history of the New China Daily;The first chapter elaborates on the establishment and development of the New China Daily,including its spatiotemporal environment and development period,and explores its author group.The second chapter specifically discusses the propaganda and reporting of the CPC’s strategic propositions and achievements in the War of Resistance in the New China Daily,which publicizes the Party’s anti war propositions and conveys the Party’s policies and guidelines,exposes the historical facts of Japanese aggression against China,and public opinion condemns Japan’s atrocities,reports the domestic war situation and records the achievements of the War of Resistance,pays attention to the international situation and publicizes the just war of resistance,and reports the Japanese bombing record and air defense construction.The third chapter specifically discusses the political and economic propaganda report of the Shaan-Gan-Ning Border Region in the New China Daily,which reports that the democratic general election campaign has improved the political consciousness of the people,fully mobilized the people to strengthen the armed forces,reported the national salvation public food campaign,introduced the actual situation of expropriation,and promoted the cooperative movement in the border region to strive to boost production and self-sufficiency.The fourth chapter specifically discusses the propaganda report of education,sports,culture and health in the Shaan-Gan-Ning Border Region in the New China Daily,reports the practice of universal education,records the actual situation of learning,pays attention to the anti Japanese sports in the border area,reports the border area sports activities,publicizes the work of drug control and smoking cessation,introduces the border area health department,and reports the women’s liberation movement,records the women’s foot release movement.Chapter 5 studies the distinctive methods and characteristics of the anti Japanese and national salvation propaganda of the New China Daily,including comics,songs,and other forms.It uses simple and concise pictures and songs to achieve the role of anti Japanese and national salvation propaganda,and fully utilizes the significant advantage of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China newspaper to form a unique propaganda system,presenting distinct characteristics of authority and scientificity,diversity and vividness,multi-dimensional and profundity.The sixth chapter studies the effectiveness of the anti Japanese and national salvation propaganda of the New China Daily and its experience and enlightenment.The newspaper has made great contributions to promoting the establishment of the broadest united front,stimulating the spiritual strength of the whole nation in the war of resistance,promoting the image building of the CPC,and developing the world anti fascist movement alliance;The report highlights the basic principles of adhering to the Party’s leadership,seeking truth from facts,respecting the fundamental position of the people,and adhering to the basic principles of objective reporting.
