Study On The Singing Techniques Of Turpan Folk Songs

The Chinese nation is a nation with a long and brilliant civilization.Throughout thousands of years of cultural development,the excellent traditional cultural heritage left by the Chinese nation is extremely rich.Xinjiang Turpan has been a region of continuous friendly exchanges and mutual absorption between various ethnic minorities and the Han people since ancient times.The cultural life of the people of Turpan is often a trinity of song,dance,and music,with various forms of performance.Turpan’s music culture is a treasure among the excellent traditional Chinese culture.The emotions of Turpan folk songs are warm,the rhythm is lively and distinct,the structure is neat and symmetrical,and the use of changing tones is rich and colorful.In terms of mode,the seven tone natural mode and the Chinese five tone mode coexist.This diverse cultural fusion makes Turpan folk songs highly distinctive and local.This article takes the two Turpan folk songs "Alma Khan" and "Baodi" as examples,mainly by studying the cultural background and content of Turpan folk songs,analyzing singing techniques,and combining my own learning and experience of using scientific vocal methods in vocal practice,in order to achieve a certain understanding and mastery of the singing techniques,pronunciation,breath control,and emotional expression of Turpan folk songs.This study mainly used research methods such as literature review,music analysis,description,and practical singing to study the two folk songs of Turpan,"Alma Khan" and "Baodi".
