Research On The Evolution Of Internet Buzzwords(2012-2022)

Internet buzzwords are always changing,and behind their diverse forms and rich connotations,they also carry the cultural imprints of the times.With the rapid changes in Internet technology,the successive changes in Internet buzzwords are a considerable shock to the language system and,more importantly,to the perceptions of Internet users in the process of expressing themselves through Internet buzzwords.As the media evolves,young Internet users use Internet buzzwords to express their emotional attitudes differently from the mass media era.That means the evolution of Internet buzzwords in a post-subcultural context is yet to be explored.This study uses the concepts of communication,linguistics and postsubculture as the basis,and uses textual analysis and case study methods to analyse the Internet buzzwords selected by domestic lists from 2012 to 2022,with a total of 220 data selected by the journal Biting Words and Chinese Inventory.Actually,the data was 178.The study is divided into five stages:the current situation of the evolution of Internet buzzwords,the social background of the evolution of Internet buzzwords,the process and results of the evolution of Internet buzzwords,the causes of the evolution of Internet buzzwords,and the impact of the evolution of Internet buzzwords.Each stage is developed in the following three aspects: the evolution of the appearance of Internet buzzwords,the evolution of the connotation of Internet buzzwords and the evolution of the communication environment of Internet buzzwords.The social conditions of the evolution of Internet buzzwords also indicate that the changes in the communication environment and the awakening of the cultural drive are affecting the presentation and expression of Internet buzzwords in all aspects.This is a direct and in-depth analysis of the genealogy of online buzzwords,which is a logical progression of the evolution of online buzzwords.The study finds that the use of textual analysis and a framework of internal,external and contextual dismantling reveals the internal and external manifestations of online buzzwords in the process of their evolution,with the appearance of online buzzwords becoming more and more abbreviated,and even showing the ambiguous attitude of a thousand people in multiple senses;the preference for subjective perspectives brings out the status of the human subject.More importantly,the social expression of online buzzwords is increasingly oriented towards both the description of the current situation and the transformation of individual emotions,and young people are happy to use the new medium to tie up their personal emotions.From the three interpretations of the surface,the connotation and the environment,the huge influence of media evolution enters the study,with media migration and the spread of social interactions becoming the key scenario drivers of the evolution of Internet buzzwords,a factor that also influences the construction of circle communication symbols and the multiple identities of Internet users.The evolution of Internet buzzwords essentially provides a new strategic channel for social expression,acting on both mainstream discourse and individual value orientation,thus balancing the multiple power points of society and providing a new blueprint for communication tools and social reflection.
