Creativity is measured in a variety of forms and a wide range of content.In terms of form,there are not only the questionnaire which is strongly influenced by the subjectivity of the subjects,but also the test which can reflect the potential of creativity.In terms of content,it measures not only divergent thinking,but also convergent thinking,creative personality traits,self-efficacy,and so on.But in real creative practices,can these tools effectively predict the level of creativity in practical work? "College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program"(hereinafter referred to as " CSIETP "),a creative practice with the most extensive participation of Chinese college students,provides a rare favorable condition for answering this question.This study attempts to investigate the predictive effect of creativity evaluation results in as many aspects as possible on the creative level of works by taking the achievement of each stage of " CSIETP " project as the dependent variable,and at the same time investigate the correlation between the degree of school support,students’ experience and investment degree and the creative level of works.In this study,college students(project leaders)in universities in Shanghai,Nanjing and other places participating in " CSIETP " project were selected as subjects.Taking the four P framework of creativity(person,process,product,press)as main framework,The measurement results of creative personality characteristics,creative potential and creative environment of the subjects were extensively collected,and the correlation between these measurement results and the performance of the works in the three stages of " CSIETP "(project initiation,mid-term assessment and project completion)was investigated.In the first study,77 college students who were preparing for project defense were taken as subjects.Creativity was measured at the beginning of their participation in the project,and the results of project approval were tracked after project approval.The prediction effect of creativity measurement results on the early achievement of " CSIETP " works(project approval or not)was investigated,and the independent variables that reached the significant level were: SSES Open-mindedness score,ATT score,S-AUT score and previous experience richness score.In the second study,109 college students who received project approval were selected as subjects,and their creativity measurement results and mid-term assessment results of " CSIETP " works were collected.The results showed that emotional intelligence,MSLQ,P-AUT,S-AUT and ATT had significant effect on the prediction of mid-term assessment results.In study 3,99 college students who had undergone mid-term assessment were selected as subjects.First,their creativity was measured,and their total score(basic score and additional score)was tracked after completing the completion of the items.The results showed that conscientiousness,emotional intelligence,MSLQ,S-AUT score and previous experience had a significant effect on predicting the final total score.Some independent variables in the above three studies are also significantly correlated.If all independent variables are included in the regression analysis at the same time,some variables with significant predictive power will no longer be significant.By comparing the results of the three studies,it can be seen that in different stages of " CSIETP " project,the prediction indicators that have significant predictive effect on the evaluation results of creative works are different.With the progress of " CSIETP",the role of individual creative potential(mainly divergent thinking)tends to weaken.Traits associated with persistence on creative tasks(conscientiousness,etc.)become more important.The variable grouping regression analysis of each study also showed that the predictive validity of a single test was very low,and that the predictive validity of multiple test results in predicting " CSIETP " performance was also not high,which is close to the finding of Runco et al.(2010)that although TTCT is moderately correlated with some creative behaviors of individuals,But not the individual’s creative achievement on a social level.Knowledge,skills,mental health and even opportunity are also important to reach your creative potential.The results of this study can be used as a reference for schools in how to select projects and how to guide and motivate students to complete projects with excellence.
