Exhibition Space Construction Of Video Installation Art

With the development of science and technology and The Times,great changes have taken place in the way and form of artistic creation,and the expression of artistic works also shows a changing trend from a single medium as the main body to a variety of media.Image installation art is a synthesis of "image" and "installation art".Because of its particularity,it is favored by artists and has become one of the ways for artists to express their ideas.Image installation art has many ways of expression and rich use of materials,so it is easy to have some problems in space construction,such as not considering the spatial relationship,chaotic spatial relationship of image installation art,inappropriate use of image installation art works in space,etc.Firstly,this paper analyzes the definition and historical development of the two concepts of "image installation art" and "space".Secondly,it analyzes the possible problems in the image installation art.Finally,from the four aspects of narrative reconstruction,perceptual extension,path design and material media,the paper explores the solutions to the problems existing in image installation art,so as to provide reference suggestions for artists.In theory and practice,this paper takes the video installation art "Imbalance" as an example to verify the methodology of content design and space construction practice of this non-narrative video art work.In the process of creation,through the study of non-narrative reconstruction,perceptual extension,path design,material combination relationship,the creation of image installation art works,trying to explore more possibilities of image installation expression through this work.
