| With the continuous expansion of the influence of the Shanghai style,scholars have focused their research on exploring the spiritual power carried by Shanghai-style artists.Shanghai-style artists often have multiple identities,such as Chen Qiucao,who is not only a Shanghai-style painter,but also a social aesthetic educator.It took him more than ten years to establish and renew the White Goose Painting Association and the New Chinese Institute of Arts.His dedication to art and his efforts in social aesthetic education are worthy of the admiration of future generations.This study divides Chen Qiucao’s social art education into four parts.The first part is an in-depth understanding of Chen Qiucao’s life experience from the perspective of sociology.It is concluded that the business study in Wanzhu School and the professional training in the Shanghai Academy of Arts are the basis for Chen Qiucao to run a school,and the rich professional experience also affects his direction of running a school.The second part is to highlight the public welfare and vocational education characteristics of the White Goose Painting Association through the analysis of the course,teaching method,aesthetic education promotion mode,etc.The third part is to explore the art education and talent training of the New Chinese Institute of Arts.Through analysis,the author found that the public welfare of the New Chinese Institute of Arts is more obvious,and its talent training is not only diversified but also professional.The fourth part is to prove the value of Chen Qiucao’s social art education based on the outstanding achievements of the White Goose Painting Association and the New Chinese Institute of Arts,and explore the specific significance of Chen Qiucao’s social art education,including promoting the progress of similar trade organizations,creating a strong social aesthetic education atmosphere,making up for the deficiencies of aesthetic education in schools,and ultimately benefiting social development. |
