A Report On The E-C Translation Of Extraction Of Prosody For Automatic Speaker,Language,Emotion And Speech Recognition From The Perspective Of Eco-Translatology

The development of computing science promotes wide applications of speech recognition technology,which makes itself a hot spot for science and technology research.Scientific and technological texts for speech information processing become particularly significant for studies of science and technology.Based on the translation of Extraction of Prosody for Automatic Speaker,Language,Emotion and Speech Recognition,this report discusses the translation methods of the texts for speech information processing from the perspective of Eco-translatology.It provides a new perspective for the translation research of scientific and technological texts.The source text involves the knowledge of phonetics,statistics and computer science,and uses terminologies,passive voice,and long complex sentences to ensure the objectivity,professionalism and rigor.In addition,combined with diagrams and tables related to speech science,the source text conveys information accurately and enhances the authenticity and reliability.Eco-translatology proposes that the text can be translated mainly from linguistics,cultural and communicative dimensions.In the linguistic dimension,the report analyses the translation methods of word class,passive voice and long complex sentences.In the cultural dimension,the terminologies and expressions with professional knowledge are the unique culture of scientific and technological texts.The report analyses substitution and zero translation which preserve the culture of the source text,and discusses the possibility of translating scientific and technological texts from the cultural dimension.In the communicative dimension,the report discusses the methods,such as amplification,omission and free translation,applied by the translator to convey the information and achieve the communicative purpose.
