With the development of Economy and science and technology,the demand of human life has changed from the basic material demand to the modern demand system with the combination of material and spirit.The vision is the human sense organ information acquirement channel,is satisfies the human spirit culture demand the important component,the image as the visual information transmission carrier,becomes the human culture art pursue and the creation important material,it is the inspiration source and the reference basis of the artist’s painting creation,and the research of its transformation method and means opens the communication channel for the photography art and the painting art,which is beneficial to the collision and combination of the two art forms,it is the foundation of emotional expression,time spirit transmission and idea image fusion.This paper starts with the concept of pictorial painting and takes the works of artist Zhang Xiaogang as an example,interpretation of his painting in the image of the artistic characteristics of conversion.Based on the transformation of Zhang Xiaogang’s images,this paper analyzes the author’s painting “Freeze frame series”from the perspectives of organizational composition,detail processing and emotional realization,the purpose of this paper is to analyze the application of image conversion in painting,and to give some useful enlightenment to the flexible application of image conversion and painting creation.
