The Application Of Animal Image In Contemporary Chinese Painting Creation

With the development of The Times,the themes and contents of Chinese painting have gradually diversified,and the use of animal modeling elements has become more and more extensive,either as the background,or as a symbol,or as the theme of the picture.This paper discusses from three aspects,firstly from the animal image appeared in traditional Chinese painting to analyze its connotation and expression techniques;Then,the author combs and summarizes various methods of using animal images in contemporary Chinese painting creation.The last part is how to use animal image to express my creative idea in my graduation creation.The use of animal images in contemporary Chinese painting is of significance in the creation of The Times.Through organizing new picture images and language,metaphorical emotional expression is presented.The change of artistic context and the injection of thoughts and emotions make the creation more necessary to have certain contemporary values and artistic views.Contemporary Chinese painting pays more attention to the presentation of metaphors through unique images and symbols,and animal images and symbols are a way and way to express self-feeling and emotions.In the practice of Chinese painting creation,it is particularly important to find my own unique symbols and pen and ink language.I hope to explore a Chinese painting style different from the ancients and others through the reasonable use of animal images and symbols.
