| Piano suite,as one of the most specialized instrumental cyclic form in the western professional music creation field,since the Baroque period,it has been highly valued by composers of different periods and schools.In the20 th century,the piano suite can still be found in the works of expressionist composers such as Schoenberg.That is to say,through hundreds of years of development,especially with the continuous incorporation of musical elements and styles from different countries and peoples outside Western Europe into piano compositions,as a result,modern piano works,including piano suites,show unprecedented characteristics of diverse styles,and become one of the western traditional music genres that widely integrate pluralism and diversified music styles.In the later period,piano suites not only inherited traditional western music creation techniques,but also integrated modern music creation concepts.At the same time,it also absorbed various elements of ethnic and folk music from all over the world,and then presented novel and unique style characteristics from form to content,techniques and style,which reflected the composer’s distinctive personal style.Italian composer Giacinto Scelsi is one of the representative figures in this regard.His music works have a strong sense of modern and diverse cultural integration of distinct personal style and artistic characteristics,has a special value of analysis and research.For a long time,Tibetan traditional music elements have been widely used in various forms of professional music creation at home and abroad,including the Western traditional music genre of piano suites.The Eighth Piano Suite(Bot-Ba)by Italian composer Giacinto Scelsi,which has cross-cultural significance,uses traditional Tibetan music elements for reference,especially Tibetan Buddhist music elements.First of all,as the title of the work,"Bot-Ba" adopts Tibetan pronunciation,meaning "Tibetan " or "Tibetan ethnic group",and directly or indirectly uses the musical conception,musical style and expression content of various genres of Tibetan traditional music in the work.Based on the study of the Eighth Piano Suite(Bot-Ba)by Giacinto Scelsi,this paper discusses the special principles and ways of handling this work when using traditional Tibetan music elements for reference and reveals the techniques of "dominant" expression and "recessive" expression in the reconstruction of the image of Tibetan traditional music in his works,that is,the path clues and expression implication of the elements of Tibetan traditional music in the aspects of musical conception,sound structure and style characteristics.Through the analysis of this work,to provide reference for the appreciation and interpretation of this work,and strive to provide reference for contemporary music creation,bring enlightenment. |
