It is an important perspective of current ethnic studies to strengthen the sense of community of the Chinese nation and to strengthen the communication and integration of various ethnic groups.This paper takes Katzuo Eastern Mongolian folk stories as a case study and starts from the perspective of ecological folklore to make an in-depth study of the ecological identity and sense of place displayed by Katzuo Eastern Mongolian folk stories.This paper provides theoretical and empirical reference for constructing harmonious ethnic relations in multi-ethnic areas,constructing common spiritual homes of all ethnic groups,and strengthening the consciousness of community of the Chinese nation.The introduction part of this paper mainly expounds the research background and significance,and combs the theoretical research status of folk narrative from the perspective of ecological folklore,the research status of local knowledge and the research status of Katzuo Eastern and Mongolian folk stories.It briefly reviews the researches related to ecological identity and sense of place,and makes an in-depth analysis of the connection between the two.It points out that ecological identity is the basis of the formation of the sense of place,and the sense of place is people’s emotional attachment to and identification of a specific place,and explains the sense of place from three dimensions to pave the way for the following article.The text is divided into four chapters:The first chapter introduces the nature and culture of Kazuo,and makes a comprehensive and multifaceted analysis and description of its natural ecology,history and culture,livelihood culture,religion and culture,in order to find the natural and social environment marks of the generation and spreading of Kazuo Eastern Mongolian folk stories.The second chapter gives a brief introduction to the collection and collation status,main story classification and inheritors of the Eastern Mongolian folk stories in Kazuo,and summarizes the collection and collation progress in different stages of the Eastern Mongolian folk stories.With the help of the animal and plant stories,magical stories,religious stories,life stories,heroic legends,local legends and other story types of the folk stories in Kazuo,This paper analyzes the ecological view contained in it and expounds the relationship between the folk stories of Kazuzuo and the storytellers from the life experience of storytellers.The third chapter analyzes and sorts out the ecological identity in Kazuzuo Eastern Mongolian folk stories,and points out the identification performance of living environment,livelihood mode,ecological belief and ecological knowledge from the two aspects of material support and emotional support.At the same time,it reveals the significance of ecological identity in Kazuzuo Eastern Mongolian folk stories from the emotional direction of ecological interaction,and further interprets the sense of place in Kazuzuo Eastern Mongolian folk stories.The fourth chapter analyzes the construction from ecological identity to sense of place in the folktales of Katzuo and Eastern Mongolia on the basis of the previous studies.Through the historical memory of ethnic migration,the sense of home in peace and contentment,and the equal and friendly inter-ethnic interaction,the folk stories of Kazuzuo Eastern Mongolian reflect the people’s sense of dependence and belonging to the place and local culture.The last part is the conclusion,which explains that in the contemporary social and cultural context,as a folk narrative,Kazuo Eastern Mongolian folk stories convey Kazuo people’s pursuit of individual and community significance,which is of great value for building a sense of national community.
