| With the gradual enhancement of China’s comprehensive national strength,more and more foreigners are interested in China,especially in Chinese culture.As an ancient civilization with a long history of 5,000 years,China has formed local words with local characteristics and deep meanings under the vast land and rich cultural background,which are also known as folk culture words.So,it is particularly important to better interpret the folk culture words accurately without losing the cultural connotation of the words themselves.This paper selected the third issue of the cultural lecture series Folk Wisdom in the Henan Folklore of Here is Henan as the C-E simulated simultaneous interpreting report.This cultural lecture is given by Mr.Meng Xianming,who mainly talks about the wisdom contained in the local folk culture words of Henan province,and leads us to appreciate the folk culture of Henan province and taste the folk wisdom of the folk culture words through the online live broadcast.This paper,guided by Interpretive Theory,analyzed in detail the folk culture words in this practice from the triangular model of Interpretive Theory.The interpreter found out the problems in interpreting from specific examples and analyzed these examples according to the triangle model of Interpretive Theory.At present,there are few studies on the application of this theory in the interpreting practice of folk culture.Therefore,it is a new perspective for the interpreter to analyze the application of the triangular model of Interpretive Theory in folk culture with examples.At the same time,it is hoped that this paper on folk culture words in the simulated simultaneous interpreting can be of some significance for future interpreting practice.The interpreter hopes that this interpreting practice can make more and more people know about Henan folk culture,so as to enhance the development of Henan folk culture. |
