The Research On The Application Of Production-Oriented Approach In One-to-One Chinese Teaching For Japanese Adults

Abstract/Summary:
The production-oriented approach was initially proposed in response to the phenomenon of “high input,low output” and “separation of learning and application” in university English teaching.Later,it has been gradually applied in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.In this field,the production-oriented approach is mainly applied in the Chinese teaching of foreign adult students with academic degrees,and rarely used for foreign adult students without academic degrees.This is not in line with the growing trend of the number of foreign adults learning Chinese without a degree.At the same time,based on the investigation and personal practice of one-to-one online teaching for Japanese adults on Everyday Chinese platform,the author learned that there is an obvious problem of “separation of learning and application” in this group,and the production-oriented approach was a more suitable way to solve this problem.Therefore,based on the production-oriented approach,this thesis takes Japanese non-degree-educated students as the research object to explore the applicability and specific application process of using the production-oriented approach to solve the problem of “separation of learning and application” of this group,and provides relevant Chinese teachers with reference schemes to solve the problem of “separation of learning and application” of Japanese non-degree-educated students in one-to-one online teaching,so as to improve the effect of Chinese teaching.The thesis is mainly divided into the following six parts.The introduction elaborates the reason of topic selection,research significance,relevant research status and research methods.The first chapter briefly summarizes the Chinese teaching situation of Everyday Chinese platform,and investigates and analyzes the problems existing in one-to-one online teaching for Japanese adults from the perspectives of teaching and learning.The second chapter analyzes and discusses the adaptability of the production-oriented approach to one-to-one online Chinese teaching for adults and its advantages in one-to-one Chinese teaching for adults in Japan.The third chapter,based on author’s own teaching practice,takes “Can you recommend me the best travel Route” as an example to fully demonstrate how the theory of production-oriented approach can be applied in practical teaching by focusing on the three links of “driving” “facilitating” and “evaluating”.The fourth chapter,based on the teachers’ self-evaluation and the students’ interview results,analyzes the teaching effect of applying the production-oriented approach,summarizes the problems that need attention in the practical application of the production-oriented approach,and puts forward specific suggestions for the relevant problems.In the conclusion part,the research is summarized and the innovation and shortcomings of this thesis are summarized respectively.Through the demonstration and research of the contents of the above parts,this thesis confirms that the production-oriented approach can be applied to the one-to-one online Chinese classes for Japanese adults,and is quite effective.In addition,it combines the author’s own teaching practice and relevant theories of the production-oriented approach to further propose practical solutions,providing some reference for novice teachers facing similar problems.
