Research purposes: With the deepening of the aging of the population in China, the society urgently needs to develop a universal and effective exercise method that can ensure that the elderly population can "walk steadily, sit down, stand up,hold firmly, and clip steadily" in the last years of their lives as much as possible. The research aims to explore and discuss the current and long-term effects of the development of physical functions that may be achieved by regular exercise from observing the exercise effects of people participating in mass sports self-organization exercise.Research methods: In the early stage of the study, through reading a large number of documents and data possession,it was finally determined that the functional movement ability was the starting point, and regular square dance was the independent variable to promote the health of middle-aged and elderly people.Field survey was used to determine the test site and test population.Through questionnaire survey and structured interview,we screened the eligible subjects, and finally recruited 60 healthy middle-aged and old people as experimental test subjects.According to whether they participated in regular square dance, they were divided into square dance group and non exercise group. The Functional Movement Screening(FMS)was used to directly measure the subjects, and the measurement results were analyzed. To explore the influence of regular square dance on the functional movement ability of middle-aged and elderly people.Results:(1)The total FMS score of square dance group was significantly higher than that of non exercise group(P<0.001).(2)The scores of DS,HS,IL,SM,ASLR and RS in the square dance group were significantly higher than those in the non exercise group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the trunk stability push up(TSP)scores between the square dance group and the non exercise group(P>0.05).Research conclusions:(1)Regular square dance has a positive current effect on the functional motor ability of middle-aged and elderly people.Regular square dance exercises have positive effects on BMI,lower limb functional motor ability, motor stability, and motor coordination abilities of middle-aged and elderly people.Regular square dance exercises effectively improve the flexibility of the upper limb shoulder joints of middle-aged and elderly people, while participants’ upper limb strength did not improve.(2)Regular square dance exercise has a positive long-term effect on delaying the decline of functional motor ability in middle-aged and elderly people. From the perspective of health investment, the accumulation of functional movement ability at this stage is inexorably related to the self-care ability and quality of life of middle-aged and elderly people in the rest of their lives. At this stage, the functional movement ability of the middle-aged and elderly people in the square dance group is significantly better than that of the non exercise group, which may affect the decline of the functional movement ability of the middle-aged and elderly people in the square dance group in the remaining years of their lives. The ability to take care of themselves in life is better maintained, and better quality of life is obtained.(3)Square dance will be one of the effective exercise methods urgently needed by Chinese society to ensure the self care ability of elderly people in the last year of their lives as much as possible. |
