In 2016,The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of The People’s Republic of China pointed out that China has gradually entered an aging society.In middle and old age,human body organs and various functions of the human body begin to decline gradually,and various accidental injuries are prone to occur,especially the weakening of body balance and other problems.It increases the risk of falls for the middle-aged and the elderly to a large extent.At the same time,the middle-aged and elderly people in my country are experiencing the rapid development of social construction and are under pressure from work and family life,which has a greater impact on their physical and mental health.,while middle-aged and elderly women are not as good as men in physical quality,they also bear the influence of specific gender problems such as menopause caused by the decline of physical function.The problems arising from their physical and psychological problems should be widely concerned.In this study,square dance exercise was used as the experimental intervention,and the effect of square dance exercise on balance ability and subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women was used as the experimental object.A 12-week square dance exercise experiment was conducted on 50 middle-aged and elderly women aged 50-65 in the experimental group.Before and after the experiment,the balance ability index test and the MUNSH subjective well-being questionnaire were used for the experimental group and the control group,to record and organize the data on the balance ability and subjective well-being of the experimental subjects,and analyze the impact of square dance exercise on the balance ability and subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women,so as to explore whether square dance exercise affects the balance ability and subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women.The improvement of feeling has a positive effect.Using the literature method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,mathematical statistics method and logical analysis method and other research methods,and using SPSS related software to conduct independent sample t-test and pairing on the experimental and survey data of balance ability and subjective well-being The sample T test was used to analyze the changes and reasons of the data,and to explore the effect of square dancing on the balance ability and subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women.The main results are as follows:(1)After 3 months of square dance experimental intervention in the experimental group,the middle-aged and elderly women in the experimental group and the control group(without habitual physical exercise)showed significant differences in the index of reaction balance ability.(2)Square dance exercise significantly improved the balance ability of middle-aged and elderly women in the experimental group,while no exercise intervention had little effect on the improvement of balance ability of middle-aged and elderly women.Middle-aged and elderly women can choose square dance to exercise during their usual exercise time,which can improve their balance ability and reduce the risk of falling.(3)Square dance improves the positive emotions of middle-aged and elderly women,while the negative emotions show a downward trend.Square dance can better improve the subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women.The main research recommendations are as follows:(1)Square dance is a popular sport among middle-aged and elderly women.Studies have found that square dance can promote the physical and mental health of middle-aged and elderly women,effectively improve the balance ability,lower limb strength,and reduce falls of middle-aged and elderly women.Square dance should be promoted and developed as one of the important fitness methods for middle-aged and elderly women,and various square dance activities should be carried out to promote development.(2)By comparing the differences in balance ability of middle-aged and elderly women who participate in square dancing and no exercise intervention,the scope of irregular physical exercise should be refined and specific in future research,so that middle-aged and elderly women can choose better and more effective Exercises that improve balance.(3)A set of happiness evaluation system suitable for Chinese elderly women can be established to regularly and systematically evaluate the psychological subjective happiness of middle-aged and elderly women,so that middle-aged and elderly women can understand the changes of their happiness level and make corresponding adjustments and plans according to their happiness level.Combined with their own physical condition and psychological state to choose their own suitable and willing to participate in the sports.
