Thailand is one of Southeast Asia’s leading countries with "Mandarin fever." In the basic Thai education phase,Chinese learning is making rapid progress in the direction of increasing popularity,as the number of Chinese language learners in Thailand increases.But at the same time,the problems in Chinese learning and students’ Chinese communication have been constantly brought to the fore,such as bias in double object sentence,particularly in the words“给 given”which severely affects Thai students’ enthusiasm for learning Chinese and is not conducive to deep learning and understanding of Chinese.It is therefore of practical importance and application value to investigate the design of double object sentence instruction for Chinese learners in Thailand.This paper draws on constructivism theory to design Chinese double object teaching for Chinese language learners in Thailand.We find that the application of constructivism theory can enhance students’ interest in the study and the effects on learning,and also foster the development of students’ capacity for independent learning and reflection.We therefore suggest that more attention needs to be given to actively engaging students and guiding their thinking in Thai Chinese dual-object teaching in order to enhance the learning effect and students’ interest in learning.We also suggest that in future research we should further investigate the application of constructivism theory in Chinese education in order to foster the development of Chinese education.Through instructional design,this research will better address the instructional needs of Thai Chinese students,in order for them to better learn and master the use of double object sentences.As well as offering some suggestions for improving instructional design.We suggest that teachers should pay more attention to explaining the features and usage of double object sentences and adopt various teaching methods and techniques to help students better grasp the use of double object sentences.In addition,students must also actively participate in classroom interactions,by doing more practice in deepening the understanding and application of double object sentence.The results of this study are of great importance for Thai Chinese learners in order to help them better understand and use Chinese double object sentence and also to provide effective guidance to foreign Chinese learners.
