A Comparative Study On The Confusing Words Of "Yan" From The Perspective Of International Chinese Education

Confusable word is one of the most difficult words in Chinese learning,and the discrimination of confusable word groups with more than three members is even more difficult.This paper takes the four words"Yange(严格)","Yanli(严厉)","Yanmi(严密)"and"Yanjin(严谨)"as the research object.From the perspective of ontological research and international Chinese education,this paper makes a detailed analysis and investigation of these four words,and on this basis,puts forward suggestions for the teaching of this group of confusable words.It is hoped to provide some reference value for the ontological study of confusable words"Yange(严格)","Yanli(严厉)","Yanmi(严密)"and"Yanjin(严谨)"and international Chinese education.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:First of all,this paper mainly analyzes the syntactic,semantic and pragmatic aspects of"Yan(严)"homogenous confusable words.In terms of syntactic elements,they can be attributive,adverbial,predicate and complement.In terms of combination function,first of all,in terms of collocation and combination with words,"Yange(严格)"is mostly paired with abstract nouns"requirement"and"system","Yanli(严厉)"is mostly paired with specific nouns"people"and abstract nouns related to people,"Yanmi(严密)"is mostly paired with abstract verbs,and"Yanjin(严谨)"is mostly paired with monosyllabic verbal verbs.Then,only"Yange(严格)"and"Yanli(严厉)"can be used in the fixed construction of prepositions"dui"+"personal pronoun"+"Yange(严格)"/"Yanli(严厉)",and"Yange(严格)"and"Yanli(严厉)"can be followed by the quantitative complement"a little"and"some";Only"Yanmi(严密)"can be overlapped,and the syntactic elements in the sentence are different after overlapped.Only"Yanmi(严密)"and"Yanjin(严谨)"have the ability to affix.Semantic,semantic emphasis and scope of application,respectively,are different.Pragmatically,only"Yanli(严厉)"has the image color to express the appearance of human beings.And these four words are often used in written language.Secondly,through the collection and analysis of bias corpora of HSK dynamic composition corpus and global Chinese interlanguage corpus,it is found that these four words have the most mixed errors,and the mixed error rate is in descending order of"Yanli(严厉)">"Yange(严格)">"Yanjin(严谨)">"Yanmi(严密)".Also analyzed the other errors are:omission,error,wrong order.On this basis,the causes of the errors are analyzed:the complexity of the same element words;The influence of negative transfer of mother Tongue for Chinese learners;The Influence of learning strategies of Chinese learners.And put forward some suggestions:pay attention to the collocation analysis of"Yan(严)"words;Pay attention to the analysis of different morphemes;Use context to reinforce the difference between the four words.Finally,the conclusion part summarizes the basic views of this paper,but also points out the shortcomings of the paper and need to improve the place.
