The Study Of Thai Students' Biased Error On Synonym Adjectives Of Chinese Language

During the Chinese vocabulary system,there are lots of synonym adjectives,the semanteme,syntax and collocation of these synonym adjectives are very similar.Because of this reason it will cause great difficulty for those language learners whose native language are not Chinese.So the teaching of synonym adjectives will be the emphasis and difficulties during the Chinese language teaching.There are lots of biased error appeared during the Thai students' learning of synonym adjectives.In this paper,I will choose seven groups of words and expressions for study.According to the biased error corpus that I had collected from myself and other teachers' language teaching experience,I had designed questionnaires to investigate the students' learning situation and the biased error situation.I have summarized five reasons for the appear of biased error,they are the misrepresentation of words and expressions,the linguistic transference,the learning language itself,the influence of classroom instruction and the students themselves.In order to solve this problem better,I will give some advice from two aspects,including classroom instruction and textbook compilation.I hope this paper can offer some references for the Chinese language teacher in Thailand and facilitate the Chinese language teaching for Thai student.
