Creativity is of great significance to the development of individuals,organizations and society.Building an innovative country cannot be separated from cultivating creative talents.Based on the importance of creativity,many countries regard the cultivation of students’ creativity as a universal educational goal,and explore the influencing factors of students’ creativity.Primary school is an important stage of children’s transition from family environment to school environment,and the influence of class environment on students’ creativity is gradually deepening.From the perspective of the head teacher,this study explores the relationship between the class management style of the head teacher and the creativity of senior pupils,and examines the impact of class atmosphere in it.Because there is no reliable and effective class management style measurement tool in China at present,the first study is the scale preparation study.The goal is to use scientific scale preparation technology to develop a research tool that conforms to psychometric standards to evaluate the class management style of primary school head teachers;The second and third studies are empirical studies.The second study uses a questionnaire survey to investigate the relationship between the management style of the head teacher and the creativity of senior pupils;The third study also used the method of questionnaire to investigate the mediating effect of class atmosphere between the management style of the head teacher and the creativity of senior pupils,and to explore the psychological mechanism that affects the creativity of senior pupils.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The primary school class management style scale developed in this study has good reliability and validity,and meets the requirements of various indicators of psychometrics.(2)There is a significant positive correlation and positive prediction between the democratic management style of the head teacher and the creativity of the senior pupils;There is a significant negative correlation and negative prediction between autocratic and laissez-faire management style and creativity.(3)The class atmosphere has a mediating effect between the management style of the head teacher and the creativity of senior pupils.Democratic management positively affects students’ creativity through class atmosphere,while autocratic and laissez-faire management negatively affects students’ creativity through class atmosphere.
