| In recent years,with the implementation of rural revitalization strategies,the research on the media landscape of homestays has received high attention from the industry and academia,especially for the media landscape research of traditional architectural homestays,which is of greater significance.The study of media landscape in traditional architecture homestays is full of a sense of the times,which can further expand the scope of media landscape research and enrich the connotation of homestay media landscape research.As the research object of this article,Qiuchangguli is a government led homestay with the participation of enterprises(such as Country Garden developers),based on the prototype of Round-Dragon house.It is the most representative Round-Dragon house homestay in the local area and has a certain influence throughout the province.Therefore,the significance of studying the media landscape in the Qiuchangguli has been highlighted.This article uses qualitative research methods such as literature review,interview,and text analysis to study the Round-Dragon house homestay in Qiuchangguli.Using the three concepts of space,place,and landscape in media geography,it divides the four main subjects(government,developers,villagers,and tourists)around Qiuchangguli.Based on the different shaping of Qiuchangguli by the four main subjects,the concepts of "creator" and "participant" are proposed,The "creators" are the government and developers,while the "participants" are villagers and tourists.This paper further analyzes the media space constructed by the "creator" through We Chat official account and the local image expressed by the "participants" through interviews,which together present a rich and diverse media landscape in the Qiuchangguli.Finally,explore the logical mechanisms underlying the dominance of "creators" and "participants" in the landscape presentation process.Research findings:First,as a major means of publicity,"creators" use We Chat official account to build their own discourse space.Among them,the government constructs a discourse space with rural revitalization as the main part;Developers construct a discourse space with architectural style as the main theme.Second,as the main channel of expression,"participants" in the interview of the author,villagers of different ages expressed the local image of amusement park,museum and habitat respectively;Tourists with different tourist purposes express the local image of warm and comfortable "outdoor leisure place" and "Hakka Exhibition Hall" combining ancient and modern times.Thirdly,by analyzing the image,function and significance of Qiuchangguli,explore the rich media landscape it forms.Analyze and draw the main logic mechanism of each subject behind the landscape: public logic,win-win logic,identity logic and attachment logic. |
