| This paper firstly collects the official language data of 151 countries along the Belt and Road,combined with the language descriptions of the countries along the Belt and Road on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China,and then categorises and analyses the official languages of the countries along the Belt and Road.The official languages of the countries along the "One Belt,One Road" route are collected and analysed on the basis of the official languages of the countries along the route.The Confucius Institutes are listed on the official website of the Confucius Institutes,and the number of Confucius Institutes along the "Belt and Road",the number of countries,cities and the number of Confucius Institutes along the "Belt and Road" are analyzed based on the theoretical basis of "the layout of language dissemination institutions".The theoretical basis is the layout of Confucius Institutes along the "One Belt,One Road" route in terms of number,countries,cities and time periods,and the analysis of their layout characteristics by combining Arc GIS and Excel.Finally,we analyse the language layout of Confucius Institutes along the Belt and Road by combining the official language distribution and the layout of Confucius Institutes in terms of number,city,country and time.Based on the above analysis,this paper proposes strategies for optimising the development of international Chinese education along the Belt and Road:international Chinese education should be conducted in conjunction with the characteristics of the official languages along the Belt and Road,and attention should be paid to the choice of teaching languages;in addition to teaching languages,more attention should be paid to the cultivation of language-specific talents and the construction of language-specific teaching resources for "international Chinese education + foreign languages";based on the layout of Confucius Institutes,attention should be paid to the target countries of international Chinese education cooperation and differentiated development. |
