A Study On The Function Of Confucius Institutes In Five Central Asian Countries From The Perspective Of "The Belt And Road" Strategy

After Chairman Xi Jinping put forward the strategic concept of "the Belt and Road",Chinese government optimized the policy environment gradually through the orderly top-level design,improved the cooperation mechanism and launched a comprehensive bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the countries along the route,built an open and inclusive international cooperation platform.A large number of cooperation projects landed,strategic construction is in full swing.China and the countries along the route is also increasingly close,Chinese learning needs continued being strong in recent years,as a Chinese language and culture communication organization,Confucius Institute will Play an important role in "the Belt and Road"strategy construction.The Confucius Institute headquarters has held a number of seminars to discuss this issue,Chinese international education community has done a lot of research,"the Belt and Road" strategy has become an important perspective of Confucius Institute research.The five Central Asian countries are located in the core areas of "the Belt and Road",many construction projects have been launched,Confucius Institute here urgently needs to adjust their own positioning and function to help "the Belt and Road" strategy construction.This paper takes the Confucius Institute in the five Central Asian countries as the research object,combines the regional position and characteristics with strategic needs,concludes the function of the regional Confucius Institute under "the Belt and Road" strategy.And puts forward relevant suggestions for action in practice,which will provide reference for Confucius Institute here to take the initiative to adapt to the strategy of "the Belt and Road",and provide suggestions for the Confucius Institute headquarters to develop the relevant policies of the Confucius Institute here.According to the above research ideas,this paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,introduces the background and significance of the topic,explains the research methods,points out the innovation and the difficulties of this research.The second chapter introduces the current condition and function of Confucius Institute in the five Central Asian countries,and do a simple evaluation of its function.The third chapter interprets the strategic needs of "the Belt andRoad",combining with the development needs of the five Central Asian countries,summarizes the mission of Confucius Institute under "the Belt and Road"strategy.The fourth chapter summarizes the function of the Confucius Institute in the five Central Asian countries under the strategic needs of "the Belt and Road",which is to propagandize concepts,investigate situations,cultivate talents and mediate contradiction for "the Belt and Road" construction.The fifth chapter puts forward relevant suggestions for action in practice.The sixth chapter makes a summary of this paper,points out the shortcomings,and puts forward the follow-up research ideas.
