The late Ming and early Qing dynasties were an important period of social transformation in Chinese history,with historic changes in society and important transformations in ideology and culture.This is an era worthy of attention.It was an era worth paying attention to.In the period of social reform in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,scholars shouldered the responsibility of inheriting culture and were an important group in the social structure.With the dramatic changes of political,economic,Ideological and cultural atmosphere in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties,many profound and true historical information is left in the novel.The creation of the novel echoes The Times.The social background and cultural Ideological tendency in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties have a subtle influence on the shaping of the characters in the novel,which is an important reason for the evolution of the image of scholars.The research content includes five parts: the introduction defines the concept of the research object,determines the research significance,and sorts out the previous research status.The first chapter from the summary of the late Ming and early Qing novels creation situation,combined with the social political and economic environment of the late Ming and early Qing,shows the late Ming and early Qing novels creation of the special background.The second chapter traces back and introduces the origin of the image of sergeant in fiction,and classifies the figures of scholars differently based on the novels in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.According to the obvious characteristics of the image of the scholar,it can be divided into four categories,including: the successful scholar,the talented scholar,the corrupt scholar and the scholar who abandons Confucianism and business.These scholars have different characters and thoughts,and the analysis of their character types and characteristics will provide a textual basis for the in-depth study of the evolution of the image of the scholar.The third chapter compares the figures of scholars in different periods and works in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties and analyzes the evolution of the figures in novels in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties.Under the new historical conditions,the image of scholars showed obvious changes in different aspects such as life attitude and social status,which reflected the style of The Times society to a certain extent.The fourth chapter,based on the evolution of the image of intellectuals in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties,traces the social and cultural context of the formation of the image of intellectuals,examines the relationship between fiction writers in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties and the environment of The Times,presents the significant characteristics of the connection between history and reality,and then discusses the reasons and values.The social economic and political changes changed the social atmosphere and life style,the collapse of the traditional Neo-Confucianism and the surge of the ideological trend of personality liberation changed the old ideas of intellectuals and injected new ideas into The Times,and the drastic changes of the cultural environment also affected the literary creation as the superstructure.In the pluralistic ideological context of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties,the scholars under the writer’s pen conveyed the unique consciousness of The Times and the subject emotion.
