Sonatina for Violin and Piano in G Major,Op.100 is a sonata duo work composed in 1893 by Anton Leopold Dvorak,a famous Czech composer.This work shows the composer’s unique personality in terms of spirit and temperament.He skillfully integrates Czech folk music with African-American music,which makes this work present a distinct national and innovative color.This thesis will combine the candidate’s performance experience and rehearsal practice,and have a in-depth discussion of the formal and characteristic as well as the ensemble issues of this work from the side of a collaborative pianist,having a goal of a better interpretation and a more detailed and comprehensive view of the way to make this piece be performed with better artistry and more advanced considerations.
