Characterization Of Characters In Main Theme Drama

Since the establishment of the People’s Republic of China,the portrayal of characters in the main theme drama has been trapped in a formulaic and conceptual creative mode for a long time,based on the creation of hero characters under the mainstream ideology,mostly shaping typical characters according to current political requirements.Therefore,for a long time,it has also been trapped in political idealization,and the portrayal of character images is mostly single and flat.The creation of typical and atypical characters from the perspective of the common people,based on the perspective of establishing people drama,was not gradually valued until the new era,and the exploration of various creative methods has also been in the ascendant since the new century.Therefore,the theme of this article emerged.Taking Jingle Bells as an example,this paper takes the establishing people drama as the base,stands on the position of modernity,based on humanistic care and humanistic concern,and examining the typical and atypical characters in the drama from three aspects: typical characters,modern spirit,and the essence of the drama,and using horizontal and vertical comparison methods,attempting to explore a diverse and three-dimensional channel for character shaping,in order to explore a unique method and approach for character shaping in the main theme of the drama.The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter classifies the characters in Jingle Bells based on the typical theories of China and the West;The second chapter is based on the perspective of establishing people drama,and portrays the typical characters in Jingle Bells in a three-dimensional way from the perspectives of character building,expression and belief construction.The third chapter is to elaborate on the life shaping of non-typical characters in Jingle Bells,to show the ordinary people in the ordinary world in a realistic and vivid way,and to portray the common people in their daily lives with rich humanity and human feelings;The fourth chapter is the creative inspiration for the shaping of character images in the main theme drama since the new era.
