The Opera "lige Leto" In The Theme And The Three Main Characters, Music Parsed

The duty of the drame and the music which was give by the subject was accomplished by three elements used in this dissertation as following:the musical theme"La Roi S`amuse"(from the opera"Rigoletto")was the center clue;the forming precess of the three main characters (Rigoletto,Duke and Gilda)was the major may to interprete the drama subject; meanwhile, their own Arias were used to rebuild the musical figures; and the chorus between each of them was the main means to put forward the plot of the drama.The drame subject was the pivot to develop the whole drama.Firstly,we pictured a sonatalike charcter (evil-mercy_evil) from the analysis to the three typical Arias of Duke;the analysis to the only Aria of Gilda showed us the kind of nice and simple character of the musical figure; meanwhile,it strenthened the tragical color of the drama end and the social moral valve;Rigoletto`s character which was two-facial like:a nice father and an evil court clown was focused in this opera.He was the pivot of the opera.Variety of the opera revolved around his charges of the charocter.As a result,we got to see a very complicated story here.The various choruses were the link of the subjects.It implied the final trend of the complex plot and the drama subject.The duet between Rigoletto and the Duke showed us two very different moods :Ganging up and hatry; the duet between Rigoletto and his daughter Gilda pictured us three different scenes and feelings; the Three parts of the duet between the father and the daughter represeated the different levels of the tragedy ,more and more.the duet between the Duke and Gilda was the primary motive to finish the subject and it was the cause of Rigoletto`s two–facial character.The quartet of the three main characters and a hooker came last.It was the climax of the drame and the essencial conclusion of the musical figures in this opera.It was the most effective way to show the subject.
