| Fu Baoshi’s landscape painting sketches in the New China era have become the representative of the landscape painting masterpieces embodying transformation and innovation in the 1950s and 1960s because of its characteristics of connecting ancient and modern,and integrating Chinese and Western.Under the dual needs of the times and the inherent pursuit of change,Fu Baoshi,with the help of the creative idea of"realism" and the creative method of western scientism,has renewed the vitality and appeal of the landscape painting through fusion and innovation of the traditional landscape painting sketching from the subject to the concept and from the content to the form,and has successfully proved that the Chinese landscape painting can be inclusive,and that it advances with the times from the old society to the new society,which shows a way and means of modern development of landscape painting.This thesis takes Fu Baoshi’s landscape painting sketches in the New China era as the research object,and makes a systematic and comprehensive analysis of his landscape painting style in this period on aspects of his style building process,intrinsic traits,external characteristics and spiritual ideas and specific methods behind the style through combing four of his most important sketching experiences in the New China era from the elementary to the advanced.Therefore,this paper is divided into three chapters in structure:The first chapter combs in detail the creation context of Fu Baoshi’s landscape painting sketching in the New China era and four most important sketching activities.In the process of sorting out the phenomena,the progressive process of Fu Baoshi’s sketching style is outlined by combining his specific works.In the second chapter,according to the style of Fu Baoshi’s landscape painting in the New China era,the author makes a concrete analysis of the logic of style building,intrinsic traits and external characteristics of his style of landscape painting sketching,explaining the fundamental reason why Fu Baoshi’s style of landscape painting sketches is "both new and old" from the essential level.The third chapter,on the basis of the phenomenon and essence,refines Fu Baoshi’s view of art,view of life and methodology behind the art of landscape painting sketches.On this basis,the author further explores and summarizes the brilliant ideas flashing in Fu Baoshi’s landscape painting practice and discourse,with a view to rationally reflect on the modern value of his landscape painting in the context of various entwined complex factors of the times,society and individuals,and seek the fundamental characteristics that should be adhered to in the modern and contemporary development of Chinese landscape painting art. |
