Study On The Similarities And Differences Of Sketch Concept Between The Westem And China

Since the20th century, social change in China puts forward the new requirements of the Chinese painting, and as widespread dissemination of Western ideas and Western painting, while facing realistic shape of Western painting, traditional Chinese concept of sketching encounters new challenges. In this case, to obtain development of the Chinese painting must base on maintaining of the traditional excellence, draw nourishment from the real-life, guide by correct sketching concept, and absorb proper concepts and skills of Western painting to enrich the performance language of Chinese painting. At this point, Fu Baoshi, Li Keran can be said to have made a great contribution. As two successful leaders in the transformation of Chinese painting, it is necessary to do some research and learning of these two masters."Sketching" had unprecedented significance in the20th century. During the sketching movement began in the early1950s, the artists went to the countryside, and through sketching they changed the aspects of.Chinese painting. All of this exhibited the development of a new historical era.I think that in the development of the times, the problem of "sketching" is worthy of study. As Mr. Shao Dazhen said:"Though sketching is not the universal prescription to solve all the problems of Chinese paintings, it is an effective way to find and develop the new soul of Chinese painting."This article will sort out of the reasons of unique style of Chinese painting by Li Keran and Fu Baoshi and explore how the two masters get inspiration from sketching and innovate the Chinese painting. Besides, this article will study the differences and similarities between sketching in the Western and Eastern with these two masters as examples and then explore the underlying causes of the formation of concept of Western and Eastern sketching. This article wants to make a more comprehensive and objective understanding of traditional Chinese painting, in order to provide a useful help to maintain independent of the national painting art more effectively, absorb an excellent ingredient in Western painting more rationally and innovate more and better in the national painting.Such as the old saying "reflecting on the past", the article will also study the means and methods in details how the masters learn the sketching concept of Western painting and integrate into the traditional Chinese painting, also in order to look into an effective way in my own creation of paintings in the future.
