In the study of Chinese medicine,a set of excellent series of Chinese medicine textbooks is an important tool to help foreign students lay a solid foundation for the future study of Chinese medicine.The basic chapter of the series of textbooks "Practical Chinese Medicine" is a textbook specifically provided for foreign students with learning needs for Chinese medicine,and is widely used.However,there is no research on the compatibility between these series of textbooks.Therefore,this article selects the basic chapters of the "Practical Chinese Traditional Medicine" series of textbooks,including "Practical Chinese Traditional Medicine Intensive Reading Basic Chapter","Practical Chinese Traditional Medicine Listening Basic Chapter",and "Practical Chinese Traditional Medicine Spoken Language Basic Chapter",to conduct research on the compatibility between the series of textbooks.The first chapter is the compilation style of the three textbooks in the "Practical Chinese Medicine" series,which is mainly introduced from the overall framework,scale,and capacity of the textbooks.The later research on the coordination between the textbooks is based on this.The second chapter is mainly about the research on the compatibility of the topic degree of the text,which is based on the topic distribution and proportion of the text.The distribution of text topics in the three textbooks has been statistically analyzed,and the proportion of each textbook has been calculated.From the statistical data,it can be seen that the coordination of listening and oral texts with respect to intensive reading texts is generally high,but there are individual topics with low coordination.The third chapter conducts research from the perspective of lexical compatibility,dividing the vocabulary in the textbooks into two categories: general vocabulary and traditional Chinese medicine specialized vocabulary.It also studies the number and recurrence rate of vocabulary,and finally looks at the lexical compatibility as a whole from these three aspects.In the series of textbooks,the general vocabulary and traditional Chinese medicine vocabulary have a good compatibility,but the recurrence rate of vocabulary is relatively low.Chapter 4 conducts research on other knowledge modules in the series of textbooks.First,it classifies other knowledge modules into three categories,namely,grammar example explanation,professional theory of traditional Chinese medicine,and Chinese ontology knowledge(words),and makes statistics on them.Then,it also makes statistics on the topic classification of other knowledge modules based on the topic classification mentioned above,Finally,a quantitative method is used to calculate and analyze the compatibility of other knowledge modules and topics in other knowledge modules.Among other knowledge modules,the compatibility of each module varies,and the compatibility of TCM professional theories and grammatical examples needs to be improved.Through the statistics and analysis of the teaching materials in the first four chapters,in the fifth chapter,the possible problems in the compatibility of the "Practical Chinese Medicine" series of teaching materials in terms of text topic compatibility,vocabulary compatibility,and professional knowledge compatibility of traditional Chinese medicine are proposed,and some corresponding suggestions are given to promote the improvement of the series of teaching materials for the preparatory study of traditional Chinese medicine,thereby promoting the research and development of traditional Chinese medicine teaching materials.
