On The Performance Of Non-Professional Child Actors In Dramatic Films From The Perspective Of Director

Since the 1940 s or so,European and American film directors have been keen to use a special group of non-professional child actors.In the development of the film history in Chinese mainland,a large number of non-professional child actors appeared in the films.And in the rapid development of film today,by non-professional child actors as the leading role of the film,like bamboo shoots after a rain more and more.This thesis firstly summarizes the development history of non-professional child actors and the presentation of non-professional child actors in domestic films.Secondly,based on previous studies on non-professional child actors,this thesis summarizes the performance skills of non-professional child actors,including the creation of "game" environment,that is,by creating an atmosphere of "shooting is playing",the non-professional child actors can improve their interest and enthusiasm,so as to better invest in the performance.The second point is to build up a "sense of faith" through guidance to encourage non-professional child actors and enhance their confidence in acting.The last point is on-site improvisation and post-production,through the adjustment of the audio-visual language to make up for the shortcomings of non-professional child actors in the performance.Thirdly,it mainly expounds the effect analysis of non-professional child actors’ performance guidance skills through the above part.Including the first point of the authenticity of instinctive performance,the so-called instinctive performance refers to the non-professional child actors in the director set the situation,guide the actors to use a "reality" from life to perform;The second point is the reinforcement of children’s authenticity.The performance of non-professional child actors is the natural expression of the authenticity.The third point is the uniqueness of non-professional child actors.Non-professional child actors are not only different from professional child actors but also different from adult actors.With this difference in identity to perform,there is a uniqueness in itself.Finally,the future thinking of non-professional child actors’ performance,including non-professional child actors’ performance problems and significance.From the perspective of the director,this thesis tries to put forward its own guidance skills and solutions on how to guide non-professional child actors to perform,hoping to provide some inspiration and reference for similar creators in the future.
