Zhao Zhiqian’s "Four Body Calligraphy Together" Calligraphy Practice And Its Application

Zhao Zhiqian,as a key figure in the creation mode of the tablet school in the late Qing Dynasty,was regarded as a model by later calligraphers for his aesthetic value and calligraphy practice.Through the study of Zhao Zhiqian’s view of "Siqu Shuhe",it can be found that although "Siqu Shuhe" is his view of Shuhe during the period of his reform,it can be confirmed by various clues implied in his works during the whole process of his practice of Shuhe.This paper makes a literature investigation on the "integration of all styles" view of calligraphy in the past dynasties,and finds that the practice of "integration of all styles" consciously carried out by the calligrapher has been a common phenomenon.The author believes that Zhao Zhiqian’s "four styles" is the successful practitioner of the "integration of all styles" view of calligraphy,giving the "integration of all styles" rich connotation and extension.The author analyzed the calligraphy performance of his "four-style book combination" from the clumsy skill of the pen and the conclusion,and tried to restore the transformation process of completing the "post" to the "tablet" and then to "write the post with the tablet" and "break the post with the tablet".It can be seen that Zhao Zhiqian’s "Four-style book combination" view of the book is to seek the combination of the writing style and the spirit through the clumsy skill of the brushwork and the conclusion.At the same time,an in-depth study of Zhao Zhiqian’s bibliography concept and calligraphic performance of "four-body book" put forward in cymbal Song book is helpful to understand Zhao Zhiqian’s overall image and position in history books under the background of the climax of epigraphy,and nourish his own creation with it.
