A Documentary Image Study Of Thematic Oil Painting In The Fight Against The Novel Coronavirus Epidemic

At the beginning of 2020,a global COVID-19 made people feel the fragility of life again.After people’s lives were affected by the epidemic,the art field also set off waves.Artists are both creators and ordinary people who have experienced the epidemic.They use their brushes to record the world under the epidemic through creation.Among them,the theme oil painting of fighting against the COVID-19 is the main type of works.As the theme of anti epidemic oil painting records the current social hot spots,a large number of documentary images will be converted during the creation process to form works that resonate with the audience.This paper discusses the documentary images in the thematic oil paintings to fight against the COVID-19 since 2020.By comparing the transformation forms of documentary images in different types of thematic works,it analyzes the similarities and differences in the transformation of documentary images between the thematic creation of this particular period and other types of thematic creation.It also analyzes the relationship between the thematic oil paintings against the COVID-19 and the background of the developed mass media era in terms of the access and transformation form of documentary images.
