"The Rhythm Of The Times" Series Creation Report

Nowadays,with the rapid development of society and economy,the expression,aesthetic theory,aesthetic significance and the expression of social consciousness of Chinese painting have developed in different degrees.The new aesthetic environment brings artists a new way of creation,and industrial print comes into being in such a social environment.With the development of politics,economy and culture in modern China,Chinese industrial-themed printmaking has gradually become one of the important ways of artistic expression to truly reflect and record the development of Chinese industry.Influenced by industrial prints,the author created a series of prints titled "Rhythm of The Times".Inspired by industrial elements in today’s society,this series of prints adopts surreal composition techniques,integrates acrylic materials with letterpress prints,and attempts to express the picture with the knife language of gray woodcuts.Works on the basis of the expression of the form of beauty,record the brilliant scene in the development of the current era.This paper will be elaborated from three aspects,the first is the reason of this topic and the previous related research;Secondly,the related exposition of the series of "The Rhythm of Times";Finally,the works display and self-evaluation and summary.
