With the continuous advancement of China’s socialist modernization process,the state and society have put forward higher requirements for aesthetic education,and music is an important part of aesthetic education.The piano occupies a central position in the study and future employment of college students majoring in music,which makes piano study a hot spot for research all the time.In the process of continuous reform and improvement of education,people from all walks of life pay more and more attention to students’ mental health.According to the conclusion of the research in recent years,the situation of learning burnout is universal among Chinese college students,and some college students in different majors have the phenomenon of skipping classes,failing and even repeating a grade.In order to explore the learning burnout of college students majoring in piano,the author selected two variables,self-efficacy of learning and self-control,from the perspective of psychology,to explore their relationship with learning burnout,and then seek effective strategies to alleviate learning burnout.Based on relevant research at home and abroad,the author adopted a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to conduct research.Through questionnaires,the author collected sample data on the learning self-efficacy,self-control,and learning burnout of piano major college students,and conducted descriptive analysis,difference analysis,correlation analysis,and regression analysis on the data using SPSS software.The research results show that there is significant learning burnout among college students majoring in piano.Overall,there is no significant difference in their learning burnout in gender and grade.There is a significant positive correlation between learning self-efficacy and self-control;There is a significant negative correlation between learning self-efficacy and learning burnout;Self-control has a significant negative correlation with learning burnout;Self-control plays a partial mediating role between learning self-efficacy and learning burnout.According to the above research results,there is an interaction among the learning self-efficacy,self-control and learning burnout of piano major college students.Based on the self-efficacy theory,self-control theory and burnout theory as well as the research results,the author puts forward the corresponding strategies to alleviate the learning burnout of college students majoring in piano,and looks forward to the shortcomings of the existing research and the future related research.
