Hollywood films are an American film produced or distributed by eight major film and television companies(Walt Disney,Universal Pictures,Paramount Pictures,Warner Bros.Pictures,Sony Pictures,20 th Century Pictures,MGM Pictures,and Lian America).Since the beginning of the new century,the number of Hollywood films released in China has increased significantly.While accepting the input of American cultural values,Chinese audiences have also noticed the prominent Chinese elements in the films.Hollywood films not only present the natural environment and cultural environment of Chinese style in various aspects and angles,but also make a multi-dimensional analysis of Chinese folk images,folk skills,folk images and popular culture,shaping a China of myriad forms and various faces.Compared to the middle of the 20 th century or earlier,the new century Hollywood film of Chinese image already very different from before,such as folk image diversification,the diversity of folk culture,space landscape narrative,on the subject choice Hollywood is committed to mining Chinese myths and legends,and try to use animated film production,awaken the audience to myth collective memory and cultural identity.Hollywood tries to build an imaginary foreign country by taking advantage of the strong speed and good communication effect.It is undeniable that the Hollywood film construction of Chinese image,only reflects the western imagination vision of China,the Chinese audience in the Hollywood film culture after absorbing and reflection,aware of Hollywood emphasizes the "feudal country","ideal","science and technology" does not completely summarize the whole picture of China,namely the Hollywood movie splicing Chinese image is not a complete China.How to view the Chinese image in Hollywood films,we should also analyze and distinguish it,integrate perceptual understanding with rational thinking,adhere to cultural confidence,reflect on the Chinese film market and movie-watching culture,and find a unique road of Chinese image creation.The paper consists of three parts:The first part is the "introduction" of the paper,which mainly explains the research object,research significance,research status,research methods and related concepts of the article.This paper with Hollywood film as the research object,the author of "Chinese image","folk image","cultural deconstruction","cultural identity" the four concepts made a clear definition,combing compared the study of Hollywood film literature at home and abroad,and the different subject of Hollywood films,points out the theoretical value of the topic and realistic value.The second part is the main body of the paper.The first chapter,"Folk images in Hollywood films",analyzes the images of folk culture,especially those related to material culture,that is,those associated with animals,plants,land,rivers or landscapes.It focuses on the series of Kung Fu Panda,Mulan and Where is the Fantastic Beasts series,and analyzes the image of god beast,plant image and landscape image in the film,and tries to understand the motivation and way of Hollywood to choose the auspicious folk image of China.Chapter 2 "folk image in Hollywood movies",the selection of Chinese folk image influenced by Chinese traditional folk culture concept,the author tries to comb analysis of typical folk phenomenon in the film,discuss the Hollywood film deconstruction of Chinese folk image and reconstruction,peep into the transnational rendering pattern of Chinese folk image.The third chapter,"The spatial construction of images in Hollywood films",starts with the space of images,summarizes the stylized of Chinese image shaping by Hollywood films,that is,"localization","secularization" and "scientific transformation".Starting with the typical spatial pictures of films,the paper analyzes the narrative function of Chinese images.The fourth chapter,"The imaginary" exotic " and China’s recognition of Hollywood films",studies the Chinese image in Hollywood films as a whole.With the help of Hollywood films,the paper analyzes the cultural identity of Chinese audiences to Hollywood films and reflects on the youth,entertainment and degradation of local films.The third part is "conclusion",this part from the "transnational spread of culture","cultural autonomous consciousness","self construction of folk culture","cultural mutual witness,mutual knowledge and symbiosis","folk culture dynamic,openness,inclusive" five aspects of Hollywood film with the help of Chinese elements for the development of China’s cultural industry.
