A Study On The Phenomenon Of Mass Culture’s Extensive Entertainment From The Perspective Of Marx’s Alienation Theory

The country prospers when culture prospers.Building an advanced socialist culture with strong vitality and vitality is the proper meaning of Chinese path to modernization and the inevitable requirement of building a powerful socialist modernization country.The report of the20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China states that to comprehensively build a socialist modernized country,must adhere to the path of socialist cultural development with Chinese characteristics,enhance cultural confidence,build a socialist cultural power around raising the banner,gathering the hearts of the people,cultivating new people,promoting culture,and showcasing image.It must develop a scientific and popular socialist culture that is oriented towards modernization,the world,and the future,stimulate the innovation and creativity of the entire nation’s culture,and enhance the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,which pointed out the direction for contemporary cultural construction.At present,China’s cultural industry is flourishing,and the development of popular culture,in particular,is flourishing and promising.However,at the same time,pan-entertainmentism is also spreading,which is essentially the alienation of popular culture itself.Therefore,based on Marx’s theory of alienation,it is reasonable to analyse the phenomenon of popular culture’s pervasive entertainment and explore feasible measures to eliminate it.Firstly,it systematically compares the formation and development of Marx’s theory of alienation,its connotation and characteristics,and analyses the connotation and essence of mass culture and mass cultural pantomime.Secondly,it analyses the reasons for the emergence of mass cultural pantomime,its specific manifestations and the impact it has brought,and argues that the emergence of mass cultural pantomime is closely related to the new changes in the productive forces and relations of production in the intelligent age,and is influenced by Western culture and ideology.This is reflected in the alienation of popular culture in terms of expression,dissemination and the purpose of creation,which has had a negative impact on culture,people and society.Finally,dissipation measures are proposed from three aspects: firstly,the guiding role of Marx’s alienation theory in the development of popular culture should be brought into play;secondly,the status of people’s own cultural subjects should be upheld;thirdly,the system to curb the phenomenon of pan-entertainment should be improved,and multiple efforts should be made to jointly weave a tight guarantee net for the healthy development of popular culture.
