| Meizhou Island in Putian is the birthplace of Mazu culture and the "spiritual hometown" of believers around the world.The Mazu ceremony is an important part of Mazu’s belief in customs.The music and dance of the ceremony are the most representative content of the Mazu ceremony.The Mazu ceremony was incorporated into the national sacrifice ceremony since the early Qing Dynasty,and gradually developed into a comprehensive performance form integrating songs,dances,music and rites,which cleverly integrated into regional elements such as Puxian Opera and condensed the spirit of traditional Chinese culture.After thousands of years,the Mazu belief has become a cultural link along the Maritime Silk Road.The Mazu worshippers come from all over the world to participate in the ceremony.The expression forms of Meizhou Mazu ceremony music and dance are also constantly innovating,aiming to break the barriers of time and national boundaries,and form the spiritual communication with God under the common aesthetic,namely the Mazu spirit of "moral,good deeds and great love".This paper adopts the interdisciplinary research perspective,mainly using the literature research method,the field investigation method,the comparative analysis method,the dance form analysis method,taking the Meizhou Mazu festival music and dance as the research object,starting from the anthropology,religion,folklore,art from multiple perspectives,based on the dance ontology,combined with the dance morphology research theory,is divided into two modules of "inheritance" and "innovation" to make a longitudinal analysis of Meizhou Mazu ritual music and dance in time.The paper consists of an introduction,five chapters and a conclusion.The introduction expounds the research purpose and research status of this topic.The first chapter begins in accordance with the historical context,combing the historical origin of the music and dance of Meizhou Mazu ceremony with the help of ancient documents.The second chapter finds out the inheritance relationship between Chinese traditional culture and Mazu ceremony music and dance culture from the two dimensions of music and dance thought and music and dance ontology,and then confirms the "ancient" rhyme of Meizhou Mazu ceremony in the new century.The third chapter is a comparative analysis of the three versions created since the restoration of Mazu festival performance in the new period,and expounds that the "new" of Meizhou Mazu festival music and dance lies in its reconstruction with local culture,integration with the aesthetic of The Times,opening the media communication path,school-enterprise cooperation and other measures;Chapter four is to analyze the social function and practical significance of the ritual music and dance.Chapter five sums up the development trend of Meizhou Mazu ritual music and dance in the New period,and draws some enlightenment through the creation practice in the new period. |
